Cosmetic as a Gift

Several years ago I got married a very good man. His name is David. As I considered he was complete me. We were acquaintance since school years, but he was a year elder. We were very happy together. He was tender and attentive. Nothing could break our marriage. Many of my friends envied to me. But once upon a time I found at David's pocket a very beautiful box with compact foundation in it. It looked very expensive, because it was from famous brand. I thought he bought it for me, because in a week I would have a birthday. And I decided not to tell him what I found that not to spoil a surprise. When my birthday had come we arranged a great celebration. I invited all my close friends and relatives. And when I opened David's present I was disappeared a little, because there was a leather beautician. Then I couldn't understand for whom he bought that matifying compact foundation. When the party was over one of my friends whose name Penelope stayed that to help me to clean the house. Suddenly I saw in her beautician the same compact foundation which I saw in David's pocket. Then I asked her where did she get this cosmetic and she said that she had new boyfriend who presented it to her. I couldn't say anything. I was mazed. I couldn't believe. How could they treat with me in such way? I trusted them both. And they betrayed me. At the next moment David entered the room and asked me to open his present - the beautician. Without saying a word I took it and opened. There was the familiar box from famous brand. I couldn't understand anything. Then David said that it was the second gift of him to me. It meant that my David and Penelope didn't date. It was just silly coincidence. How could I hesitate about my husband's faithfulness? All is well that ends well.
